It signals lack of confidence in a rather large piece of Windows. I've seen dev discussions with them alluding to this, and hinting that they are considering their own content server solution. Everything from folder structure and permission to speed to even UX performance (the app pulls data from Windows Store). This is the backbone they use for content serve and it's terrible. ![]() As I see it, they've got a major architectural issue: the Windows Store. It's clear they have a lot of devs working on this. I've been impressed with their update cadence and improvements and bug resolutions. It's not as good as Steam but it does the job for me.
